"Victoria" is from the Petite Portrait series.

"Victoria" is a portrait of Victoria Woodhull, who ran for President of the United States in the 1870's. She published and edited a news paper and was a stock broker on Wall Street, quite extraordinary for a woman of her time.

Under Victoria's 1870's style two piece silk dress is a petticoat, and as pictured, a chemise, drawers, corset and a bustle. She wears patterned stockings and laced boots.
