'Umbrella Pants' were a style of drawers worn in the late 1800's with large, full leg openings. Evergreen is wearing a 'Combination', which is a chemise and umbrella pants made into a one-piece undergarment. 'Combinations' of stylish undergarments were commonly worn in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Petticoat
The Evening Costume is styled in a late 1890's fashion. It is made of silk taffeta, embellished with amethyst colored crystals and ecru cotton lace and a net dust ruffle.
